The 3rd generation of the Toyota Tundra debuted in 2022 and heralded a new truck from the ground up. Gone is the old 5.7L V8 which was replaced by the turbocharged 3.4L V6 engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This newer powertrain combo offers up to 389 HP and 479 lb-ft. of torque and still gets an impressive fuel rating of up to 22 MPG on the highway from the EPA.Towing capacity is also stout, with a rating from Toyota of 11,160 lbs. when it is properly equipped. * (*This truck per Toyota Factory information).
The newly designed exterior reflects Toyota's modern branding and marks a vast improvement over the previous design. The Midnight Black Metallic exterior is free from damage with only a few normal blemishes.
All four tires are stout and perfect for daily driving.
With seating for up to 5 passengers, the Black cloth seats are all very clean and comfortable.
The SR5 trim was number two in the lineup of seven separate levels available. It added onto the base trim with alloy wheels, LED foglights, a drive mode selector, rear center armrest & cupholders, adjustable tie-down cleats in the cargo box and a towing package w/class IV hitch, integrated trailer brake controller & four-pin and seven-pin trailer connectors.
