KEY POINTS ABOUT THIS Escape Plug-In Hybrid
The Ford Edge Escape Plug-In Hybrid is powered by a 2.5L 4-cyl. gas engine mated to an electric motor that offers up to 210 HP and a maximum range of 37 miles when driving on only electric power. When using only the gas powertrain, the EPA rated it for up to 42 MPG on the highway. When it is properly equipped, it can even tow up to 1,500 lbs. With so few miles, the tires and exterior paint/body still look almost new.
The cabin is just as pristine and has seating for up to 5 passengers. All of the Space Gray seats are comfortable and clean.
For storage, the Edge has about 34.4 cu-ft. of cargo area behind the rear seats which can be increased up to almost 61 cu-ft. with those seats folded down.
There was only one trim for the PHEV version of the 2024 Edge. It is not bland nor ornate, yet features some extras and plenty of useful standard features.
